I need a distraction tonight, and it's a little embarrassing to admit that it was only after I'd exhausted all my possibilities for drinks with friends with whom drinks would be relaxing and not stressful that I realized that settling into the groove of photo editing would do the trick just as well.

These are some photos from Pittsburgh from my little Rollei 35mm from the 70s. I actually lied I have another Pittsburgh roll kicking around somewhere, but I think I still need to scan the negatives in so it'll be another long while.

sometimes i like to think i can photograph people all tricky-like

on the street

but i got called out once

and now i'm timid

digging for groceries

sauce and sass

wandering amidst the plants

don't give a f*ck who it's dedicated to

God and happiness and beer or something

such a lolo face

Look at that face. I love my friends.

pretty pretty haircut by lo

color blocking

  1. I love how these Pittsburgh shots keep trickling out, almost two years later. ;) I like the Kiva Han one and how alien-esque my neck looks in the one where I'm sitting to the left side. Also why the heck was I putting hands on my hips so much that other day? Weird Laura, weird. Buuttttt you look so dramatic and badass in that one that has the PGH skyline!! You fit right in, dear.
